By the mid-1900s, Banarasi fabric found its way to global markets, particularly in Persia and Europe. As demand grew, Banarasi silk became synonymous with elegance both at home and abroad.

Banarasi fabric underwent a revival, blending traditional weaving with contemporary fashion. The classic sarees continued to shine at weddings, while new forms like lehengas and modern dresses embraced the timeless luxury of Banarasi fabric. Today, it’s cherished worldwide for its heritage, craftsmanship, and versatile style.
